Starting your own business can be daunting and, whilst you may have the necessary skills to provide a service or product, you may need additional support and guidance. WEETU believes that support received through mentoring can clarify and improve your business idea during those crucial early stages of business development.
What is a Mentor?
Mentoring is a long term relationship that meets a development need, helps develop full potential, and benefits all parties. The concept works especially well in business and can help to guide you through making tough decisions, address the challenges you face and discover ways of improving your business. Your mentor can often become a trusted business friend. WEETU Mentors are mainly volunteers recruited from the local community who are passionate about increasing the number of women entrepreneurs.
Currently WEETU works with Barclays Bank in Norwich to provide Business Mentors for women who apply successfully for start-up finance from the WEETU Full Circle Loan Fund. If you would like a mentor, register your interest with us now. This will help us to assess the demand for this new service and source the necessary funding to support it.
